Educating Homebuyers
In 2007, Genworth created its First-Time Homebuyer's Monitor - a semi-annual study on homeownership trends, realities and perceptions specific to the first-time buyer segment. The inaugural Monitor focused on the unique attitudes and perceptions of single female buyers, while the second edition looked at the obstacles and opportunities facing new immigrants to Canada.
Genworth also issues reports on Canada's housing market and condo market in winter and summer in conjunction with the Conference Board of Canada.
