At Genworth, we are committed to supporting communities across Canada
We are committed to delivering value to the communities where our people live and work. One of the ways we are working together to help others is by supporting organizations like Habitat for Humanity. This is a charity that is dedicated to helping eliminate poverty by building homes in partnership with families in need.
We support our lenders, brokers, builders and realtors professional communities, by sponsoring organizations like the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP), the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA), and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). We also support their affordable housing initiatives - we adapt underwriting criteria to provide access to home ownership to people who would not otherwise qualify.
We are also committed to home buyer education through our free home buyer seminars. These seminars teach first-time home buyers how to buy a home.
We believe whole-heartedly in being part of our community.
